The
worlds foremost authority on groundbait, Marcel Van den Eynde
and double World Champion Bob Nudd combined their wealth of knowledge
to formulate this winning groundbait mix. For catching big fish
in match conditions, Bob has no equal and Hi Pro Specimen is the
groundbait mix he uses to attack prolific waters with such success.
IDEAL
USES
A
protein rich mix formulated for use on prolific carp fisheries,
or any water holding large stocks of specimens such as tench,
chub and bream. Included in this groundbait are particles of flake
large enough to attract and hold bigger fish. This groundbait
is perfect for use when a positive approach is being taken to
catch big fish by match anglers and specimen hunters alike.
PROVEN
RECIPE SUGGESTIONS
1.
1 bag Hi-Pro Specimen, 1 bag Grilled Hemp. This mix will bind
well for use at long range using high powered catapults, or throwing
sticks, it can be used to concentrate large particle baits such
as boilies, sweetcorn or cubes of luncheon meat.
2.
1 bag Hi-Pro Specimen, with an equal amount of either white crumb
or brown crumb. For use in shallow lakes when fishing floating
baits such as bread crusts, biscuits or casters/maggots, but prepare
some time before starting to fish in order for it to be most effective.
3.
1 bag Hi-Pro Specimen and an equal amount of rough white crumb
and 1 large white loaf mashed together into loose, well soaked
mix which breaks up almost on impact. (For water over 6ft deep,
stiffen the mix with crumb). This method when fished on running
water for chub, big roach and bream with bread flake on the hook
can produce spectacular results.
MIXING
INSTRUCTIONS
1.
Place the dry groundbait into a mixing bowl and blend befor adding
water.
2.
Add water slowly whilst vigorously stirring the mix together.
Break up any lumps which develop by rubbing them between your
palms.
3.
When you feel the mixture is damp enough, set it aside for 5-10
minutes to allow the moisture to be fully absorbed.
4.
You will find before use a little more water may be added to the
mix.
5. This groundbait is sometimes more effective if it is mixed
a few minutes before you need to use it.
