Without
doubt Europe's foremost authority on groundbait mixes and additives.
Marcel Van den Eynde has fished 25 World Championships for Belgium
and has been individual World Champion, as well as helping his
country win the Gold Medal twice. In Belgium and Holland, Match
anglers must catch bream to win. Many years ago, Marcel discovered
the key to attracting and catching more than his share of bream,
for over thirty years he has been winning matches with it!!! The
exact mix Marcel uses for all his bream fishing is now available
to you
. Gold-Pro for Bream.
Gold
Pro Bream forms a major part of Steve Canty's groundbait mix for
many venues.
I've
been using Van den Eynde Gold Pro Bream for a couple of years
now and it forms part of the mix I use for many venues both in
this country and abroad.
I'm not one for loads of different groundbaits. I prefer to find
a mix I like and stick with it whenever I can, and Gold Pro Bream
forms a large proportion of the groundbait mix I use on most rivers
and lakes.
It's one of the more aromatic of the Van den Eynde range with
a sweet smell reminiscent of Brasem additive. I sometimes use
it by itself in a feeder for bream because it forms a fluffy mix
which clings to a feeder well but explodes out on the bottom.
Often
I'll mix it with Brown Crumb and Van den Eynde Secret for a stiffer
mix if I want to ball it for the pole line. It catches roach as
well!
IDEAL
USES
For
any water where there are bream, ( big or small ) Gold-Pro will
be the perfect base mix. The medium texture of Gold-Pro is rich
in those ingredients Marcel knows are proven to attract and hold
shoals of feeding bream. This sweet smelling fluffy mix can be
used on rivers, canals or stillwater. Although it already contains
Marcel's secret brasem ingredient, more can be added if you wish
to create an extremely sweet mix.
PROVEN
RECIPE SUGGESTIONS
1.
1 bag of Gold-Pro, 1 bag of Supercup or Special. This mix will
prove perfect for anglers wishing to create a large cloud effect
in either mid-water when introduced by hand, or on the bottom
when fed through a swimfeeder.
2.
1 bag of Gold-Pro and 1 bag of Superlake ( or Expo if a reddish
mix is preferred ) This is a mix which will carry large quantities
of loose feed such as casters and squats which need to be fired
out some distance and be delivered to the bottom before the balls
disperse to create a carpet of food.
3.
A heavy mix for deep and powerful moving water. 1 bag Gold-Pro
and 1 bag of Secret or Turbo.Bream are often found in deep holes
on powerful rivers, and large, wind affected lakes. To get feed
down through strong currents and amongst the bottom hugging bream,
you need a heavy mix, this is one you can rely on to do the job.
MIXING
INSTRUCTIONS
1.
Place the dry groundbait into a mixing bowl and blend befor adding
water.
2.
Add water slowly whilst vigorously stirring the mix together.
Break up any lumps which develop by rubbing them between your
palms.
3.
When you feel the mixture is damp enough, set it aside for 5-10
minutes to allow the moisture to be fully absorbed.
4.
You will find before use a little more water may be added to the
mix.
5.
Finally, run the mixture through a maggot riddle to obtain an
even texture which will work as intended once introduced into
your swim.
